Charter versus fractional ownership
We believe that charter is ultimately the best solution. Fractional ownership requires a high degree of commitment, regular payments (even when you are not flying) and only basic costs are shown - there are normally plenty of extras that follow a flight. The guaranteed response times shown by fractional ownership companies are nothing to get excited about - we regularly have flights airborne within an hour or two of a call. We also give you the aircraft for the day, allowing complete flexibility and freedom in your schedule - unlike our clients recent experiences with fractional who were only prepared to wait one hour for him and then they threatened leave without the passengers. Another aircraft of the fractional operators choosing would be provided when they decide to get it to you. You really have to ask yourself if this is a good arrangement and what you are paying a small fortune for - basically being treated like a scheduled airline passenger.
Charter offers greater flexibility , no commitment, no down payments, no monthly contract and the opportunity to use the most appropriate aircraft for each flight you make. If you don't book - you don't pay.
Ironically we have customers who charter with us when they can't get the aircraft they need through their fractional ownership company or don't like the cost from the fractional.
We also believe that ultimately customers are exposed to greater risk - they have your money in their bank before you fly. This risk was proved in the past when one jet share scheme went into receivership and the client's deposits were lost.
Flying fractional can be stressful, inflexible and expensive.
