There are going to be many instances in life where it is of the utmost importance that you be in a particular place at a very particular time. Life is a game of timing. Those who make it big in life often attest to the fact that they were just in the right place at the right time.
Of course, happenstance is part of it, but those who make it their prerogative to be in the right place are the ones who find fortune smiling upon them much more often. It takes deliberate action- to be somewhere. You have to know that it’s important, and only you can be the one to move your body from place to place. When people know where they ought to be, but don’t necessarily want to be there or just don’t know how to get there, there are many excuses that come knocking on the door that stop them from moving to action.
Wherever you’re at in life today, here are 3 reasons lack of transportation doesn’t have to stop you from getting where you need to go:
There Are Always Options
Even if you’re incapacitated and unable to move, there are always options for you. If you’re at a stage of life where you know that you need help but don’t see how you can get it, somebody else has done the work to make sure you receive the help you need. From the addict who needs a ride to recovery, to the hitchhiker who needs a ride cross country, to the artist who just needs a break, don’t despair. You might spend some time walking from place to place, but just because you wander, it doesn’t mean you’re lost. There is always somebody who is willing to give you a ride.
Sometimes You’re Right Where You Ought to Be
If you’re feeling like you need to be somewhere else in life, maybe you need to take the time and evaluate where you are in this present moment. People have a tendency to always want to be moving forward; to be somewhere other than where they are, because the grass is greener on the other side. However, maybe you’re right where you ought to be in life. Maybe you don’t need transportation at all.
There is Physical and There is Virtual
Getting down to the reality of the matter, if you physically have to be somewhere but don’t know how you’re going to get there, maybe you don’t have to actually transport yourself to a destination. The world has changed and continues to change. The virtual world is as real as the world you’re sitting in right now. If you have a meeting to attend to or you want to be in contact with a person across continents, don’t let a lack of transportation hold you back. You’ve got phones. You’ve got skype. You’ve got the virtual world on your side, and it’s second best.
