I know I should be overjoyed but my head was spinning so much from lack of sleep and all the travel that I was more dizzy than happy. Still, it was a good feeling. A few weeks ago I was transferred to the International section on a permanent basis. I mean I had been working the shifts the last couple of years that took me on occasion to other countries, but with this new move, my flight attendant work was exclusively international. In the past 3 weeks, I have been to 11 different countries! A couple was just an overnight stay, Kiev, and Vienna, but others have been 1 and 2 days.
The best one so far was a flight we had on a Friday afternoon, departing London at 5.30pm and arriving in Prague at about 7 pm, allow the hour difference and it was 8 Friday night in the Czech capital. I had never been to that city before but had heard a lot about it from friends of mine. It wasn’t the fact that I was in Prague, it was the fact that my next scheduled flight out of there wasn’t until Monday morning at 6 am! Woohoo!
On the Friday night we, that is the flight crew, got to our hotel by about 9.30 and after dinner at a local restaurant, then a few quiet drinks at a city bar, we had an early night. The plan was to tour the city next day and maybe rage a bit on the Saturday night. The plan worked fine and we visited the beautiful city of Prague all day Saturday. We were staying at the Wenceslaus Square Terraces, friendly apartments, and not far from there was the Ambassador Casino and around the corner was a club where there must have been 4 separate parties happening. We had a raging night there and I thought I might share a couple of photos. If you’re ever in Prague, this is a great place to go for a great night out. Prague rocks.
